Oh, Melissa! Thanks so much - I did it - I WENT WENT WENT WENT! So great to hear from a teacher who has such good things to say, although not uncommon. Most of the feedback I have found has been great. The majority of teachers LOVE what they do. I started this week so I am one week closer to teaching! And I do LOVE Antique Mommy. She sure can write.

Okay, so I haven't even read this post. I hadn't even seen you before tonight when I saw your comment over on Antique Mommy (don't you just love her???), but if, indeed, you are thisclose to going back to school for teaching, GO. GO. GO. GO. As a former teacher (now SAHM of two tinies), it is a blessing to teach each day. It is. And, if you are considering it, I think you should take the leap.

Our kids can use all the great adults they can get. :)

Best of luck!

Oh yeah, and I'm totally bookmarking you. :)

Amy;
I'm looking in Elementary education but not yet sure the grade level or concentration. I have enough undergrad classes for my Social Sciences endorsement, and need just 2 math classes for a math endorsement to be able to be the Social Studies or Math teacher in Jr. High. I did join the oprogram and began classes last night. I am oifficially a grad student! Thanks for the kind words. I'm really looking forward to being in the classroom.

This sounds like a great opportunity for you to seize! What sort of area would you like to teach in? You have a warm personality that would be ideal for a teacher.
